Description


Doubletree Club Hotel Boston Bayside is located next door to the Bayside Expo & Executive Conference Center. It is one block from the subway to Boston and Cambridge, and the Boston Trolley Tour stops in front of hotel. A mile away is Carson Beach and the Edward J. McCormack Bathhouse, complete with changing rooms, showers and even chess tables and bocce courts. Attractions in downtown Boston, such as the Financial District, Fenway Park and Boston Common are also an easy two miles from the hotel, and the Logan International Airport is located just six miles away.
The lobby, with its blue-and-gold couches, is a popular spot for relaxing, dining on take-out from the hotel's Au Bon Pain bakery cafe, sipping cocktails from the lounge, or watching television. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to Logan International Airport and Boston.

Would stay again

This hotel is in a handy location in South Boston close to Museums and other tourist attractions. Provision of a shuttle bus is very handy. I would say however that the walls could do with some sound insulation but it's nothing too extreme.

Warm cookie on arrival

Clean and tidy, friendly staff. Not too far from the 'T' a 6minute walk to a supermarket. Would stay there again. Workout room small but good. Huge queen size bed. Warm cookie on arrival.

Although out of the way a lovely place to stay

Being welcomed with fresh baked cookies was lovely at this hotel. Although the location is not in the centre of the city there is a convienant metro station minutes away that takes you to the heart. The room was of a very high standard. The hotel has a handy cafe on the ground floor serving snacks throughout the day.

Wonderful stopover

Arrived in Boston mid afternoon for brief stopover. The hotel was welcoming (the warm welcome cookie is a plus!) It is five minutes walk to the metro train system which is easy and convenient. The room was very comfortable with an abundance of soft pillows and towels. Room was clean and nicely decorated. There is no restaurant buta basic breakfast (hot filled bagels etc) can be purchased from the Bon Pain cafe in the hotel.
