This hotel is very nice, and we will come back here for sure if we come back to Boston. The room was pretty, with nice colors and a big LCD TV, very quiet (maybe because it was Christmas time...) and in very good condition. We loved free parking and the breakfasts. The only problem was the (free) Wifi Internet access: the signal was too low to be used from our room, so we used the signal of a neighbour (company)!! Fortunately the hotel also provides an ethernet cable which was convenient to connect one of our laptops.

VERY PLeasant all the way around. The price is a bargain when you figure that a LARGE BUFFET breakfast is included. They are located one block from a T stop. My first chioce when visiting Boston

The Kendall is a charming hotel, with character. The service, rooms, and location are excellent. I will definitely stay there again any time I need a hotel in Boston or Cambridge.

This hotel was beautiful and charming. The location was great - right next to the subway and a very short ride from the heart of Boston. It's also a short drive or a moderate walk to Massachusetts Ave., which has lots of shops and nightlife. The hotel even offered to let us leave our car in their parking lot after checkout so we could spend our last day in Boston without worrying about the car (though if the hotel were full this might not have been an option). The furniture is charming and the overall atmosphere feels more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. The free breakfast was muffins, fruit salad, yogurt, cereal, eggs, bacon, and pancakes for each of the four mornings we were there (toast upon request). I wish the food had changed a bit from day to day, but I certainly didn't leave hungry. The hotel had only one major drawback - the shower had very poor water pressure and a bad showerhead - it was hard to wash shampoo out! I called maintence to complain, but evidently it was working as they expected it to. I was disappointed because since the hotel had so many great qualities, it was a shame that that little bit of luxury was neglected.

Great location. Very handy to public transportation. Complimentary breakfast is very good. We would definitely return! Free parking is very unusual in metro Boston.

A comfortable hotel in a quiet part of Cambridge. The room and lobby and restaurant all had a personal feel to it. Quaint and directly on a main public transit branch. It's in a neighborhood with office buildings, but there are excellent restaurants and breweries within walking distance.

The hotel is a great place to stay. It has a very cozy, comfortable atmosphere. Our room was reminiscent of a different era with all the modern conveniences - iron, full sized ironing board, blow dryer and flat screen television. Conveniently located to the subway system and a free shuttle to the mall. We would love to stay there again.

Had a great time: Parking and breakfast is included making it a good value. In addition to the hotel restaurant their are a few nearby within walking distance. Access to the "T" is a block away and in two stops you are downtown. Rooms are small but nicely done and very clean. Cozy lobby with fireplace. Friendly, helpful staff. We'll be going back.

We loved it! We had the cutest room on the second floor- (wedding room as it had old fashioned wedding photos and we were just married) pale quilts, high ceilings, small but adorable! Smashing bathroom too...new very large tub with jets and all new other fixtures. Loved the robes and decided to stay in and order out just to have a relaxing night. Full breakfast couldn't be beat either. Make sure to call and see if the restaurant is open- we missed it and it looked good. Can't wait to go back.

This is a well-maintained, clean hotel with charming decor to go with its historic background. I loved the quilts on the beds and antique-style furniture. Staff was friendly. I missed not having a coffee maker in the room, though I never asked if they could provide us with one. The included buffet breakfast was very good, with lots of fresh fruit, etc. The room price was a very good deal in the expensive Cambridge area. Next to MIT and a T (subway) stop (quick access to Harvard and downtown).
