Great hotel

at the airport make a beeline for the tourist info. They will ask you a few questions and recommend the cheapest pass for transport. We got 72 hours unlimited tram, metro, and underground travel with a to and from the airport Train ticket for 20euros each!

Great Hotel, it is outside the centre but a 25 minute tram ride takes you there. Nice Hotel.

Hotel is nice as you would expect from a Holiday Inn. It is 25 minutes from the centre but the Tram stop is directly behind the hotel and it is cheap. hotel did charge a 'tourism tax' per client upon departure, something we weren't aware of but it was onyl a few pounds.

Excellent Choice for Amsterdam

Great hotel, great loacation, great staff, great service and great price! Amsterdam is expensive. This was by far the best choice / value for your money! The hotel is 10mins from the Airport by train (2nd stop). There is a tram right outside that will get you into the centre in 15 minutes and the route is scenic too! The tram is cheap and runs all day until midnight. No tram changes required either. After that you can get a cab to the hotel from central for 20 Euro's.The minibar, however, is very expensive! Stay away from it :)

Great Value Hotel, Highly Recommended

Buy a 24 or 48 hour GVB pass if you are heading over for the weekend. It covers all tram and metro travel and is much better value than a 'strippenkart'.
