Description


The Hotel Atlanta is located in the center of Amsterdam, within a few minutes walk of museums, galleries, theatres, cinema shops, restaurants, bars and discos. This hotel boasts the most reasonable rates at the best location overlooking the Rembrandtplein. Shopping on Kalverstraat is only three minutes away. Numerous tram lines stop nearby, offering easy access to different points of the city, though guests should find most attractions within walking distance.
The guest rooms all have an attractive décor and furnishings, and most have a private bathroom equipped with either a shower or spa tub. All rooms have internet access, cable TV, and are up to modern fire-prevention standards. The Hotel Atlanta is convenient to fine dining, shopping and entertainment venues.

Not Impressed - what a disappointment

This hotel is situated in a very large square and with the good weather the terraces were crowded and very noisy until 1:00 a.m. The room we had was described as deluxe with jaccuzi and we paid "deluxe rates" but definitely did not get what we paid for. The jaccuzi could barely hold a small child. Otherwise the location is good and within walking distance to many attractions including the train station. To get to our room we were led through narrow hallways and stairways(carrying our luggage) and even through an open alcove where there was water dripping from above. We definitely did not get our money's worth.
