I have stayed at this hotel and been very satisfied previously. This time however, when we arrived and were given our room, it turned out to be in a part of the hotel that was under renovation. We had to step over rolls of carpet and around construction equipment. The room itself was ok, but not as nice as the same class of room in different parts of the hotel. I would stay here again, though, as I know that once the renovations are complete, the hotel will be back to its old self. This is a nice part of town and is great for those who wish for quiet at night instead of party goers on their way home from the bars.

Please be aware the rooms for this hotel are in two separate buildings. The small double room is extremely small - good only for one person and even then it is a tight fit. The executive room is great and much more comfortable. The restaurant and bar are good and there are many nice restaurants close by.

get the train from the airport to amsterdam central train station. then jump on a tram to leidenspein. it cost just under 10 euros pp were as a taxi is 60!!

Small boutique hotel with a fantastic courtyard patio. Modern, cool decor. Efficient service. Quiet street. Best suited to leisure travelers. I booked an executive room but the desk and stool combo were uncomfortable, not adequate for the needs of business travelers.
