If you have no where else to stay, its 11pm and raining - then stay there...otherwise the rooms are extremely small as is the respect and intellect of the majority of the staff there. Rudely barging in the room at 10 am to tell us that check out is at 11am...and then coming in at 10.55 telling us we should be gone already.. Better places to stay for the money and convenience..

The clue to what mysteries the Inner Hotel held was written above the door - "stopover" - which may have been shorthand for 'don't stop here, stop over at another hotel.' I think they also missed out an 's' from the word hotel, for indeed it was truly a hostel. We were greeted by a horde of surly teenagers loitering in and around the lobby. The pleasant receptionist informed us that all rooms were non-smoking, but you could smoke in the bar. Hurrah, a bar! Otherwise known as 'room with chairs.' There was no bar. Well, there was a bar, as in a lump of wood with stools in front, but it didn't ever function as a place from which to purchase liquor which might help you forget. Our room, or mini dormitory, consisted of one single and one pair of bunk beds, a desk, a couple of hard chairs and a cupboard. No telephone, no tea and coffee making facilities, no minibar. And if ever you needed a minibar, now was the time. The bathroom was pleasantly clean and nice however, and the cleanliness of the room in general was pretty good. The saving grace was the excellent tv, with satellite, so we could at least have a modicum of entertainment to drown out the noise of aforementioned teenagers making alarming noises throughout the night, and letting off the smoke alarms (presumably from smoking) at intermittent periods. So my advice is - don't stay here, unless you are below the age of 20, for more than one night, or liable to spend your stay intoxicated sufficiently to numb the pain.
