Nice hotel in nice area, within minutes of tram and bus and Leidseplein
""Great Hotel""by M from Pontefract, West Yorkshire
Fantastic hotel especialy for the price. Breakfast is toast, cereal, hardboiled egg, hot & cold drinks but what more do you want ( a full English i hear you say!) not this cheap. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff very helpfull. The hotel couldn't be better located, the shuttle bus from the airport drops you off right outside and its just a 3 min walk into Leidse Square which is great for food and nightlife (Hard Rock Cafe) Dam and the Red Light District are both just 5 mins on the tram. A************* will be staying here again thats for sure.
"RECOMMENDED FOR FUTURE VISITS TO AMSTERDAM"by G from USA
MY WIFE A ND I WERE PLEASENTLY PLEASED WITH THE OVERALL STAY AT THE HOTEL. VERY FRIENDLY AND ACCOMMADATING STAFF, GREAT BREAKFEST, EXCELLENT LOCATION. UPON OUR ARRIVE WE WERE GIVEN A VERY SMALL ROOM WHICH WAS NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED. WE WENT BACK TO THE DESK AND TOLD THEM THE ROOM WAS UNACCEPTIVELY SMALL. THEY RELOCATED US TO A MUCH LARGER, MORE PLEASENT SETTING IN THE ROOM. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, ASK FOR A ROOM WITH TWO SINGLE BEDS OF WHICH YOU CAN PUT THEM TOGETHER, AND THEN YOU SHOULD ENJOY A PLEASENTLY LARGE AIRY ROOM. IF I RETURN TO MSTERDAM, I WILL DEFINITLY RETURN TO THIS HOTEL
"The hotel was pretty good for the price"by A from Milton Keynes
The hotel was in a good location, not right in the centre but a 30 min walk from the central train station with lots of shops etc... on the way or 5 mins on the tram. The Hotel was good value for money and the breakfast was ok. It was a good location for the main museums and brewery.
"Great Little Hideaway"by L from Cheshire
Great hotel, great location in a quiet area but not too far from the hussle and bussle...., great breakfast...you're silly not to stay here....
"Great location nice and tidy"by a from plymouth
Hotel is in a great location across from Leidseplein. Staff were very helpful, room comfortable, breakfast ok but could be improved with addition of beans, mushrooms or something to alleviate the drieness of the food.
"Good location cheap quality hotel"by P from Belfast
This hotel is ideally situated to the tourist area but I would only recommend a stay here if you paid extra to have a room with air conditioning. Rooms are abnormally warm even though the tempature outside isn't. Our room was extremley small as was the bathroom. Hotel inside looks more like a glorified hostel than a hotel. Would not go back unless I paid for air conditioning but at that cost the quality of the hotel doesn't justify it. Also got hit with the surprise of tourist tax as we checked out, not sure whether this site or hotel is responsible for that not being included in the price we paid at the start...
