We didn't expect much as we thought the room was quite cheap, however the hotel was incredibly clean - room cleaned every day, new sheets, hoover, new towels etc - the staff were very friendly very helpful. The hotel was modern and looked like it had just been re-decorated. The room was a little small but adequate and the location of the hotel was perfect. We would definately go back and recommend it to any body.

3 mins from Dam Square and 5 mins from Central Station. Staff friendly and refurbed rooms are much better. Sometimes rooms are pricey for what you get but that's amsterdam. Worth staying if price right.

We stayed in a delux room, and it was tiny, but then most hotel rooms in central Amsterdam are tiny unless you stay in a modern purpose built hotel. Our room was newly refurbished, clean, and very quiet for a city centre. The station was a 10 min walk, as was Dam square and the rest of the centre which is pretty tacky. Tram right outside so easy to get about.

The Tulip Inn has a great location close to Central station and Dam Square. The staff were very friendly and happy to help with any queries and the room was of a very good standard although not massive. Not that you needed it to be any bigger. Didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on that but would definately return here if staying in Amsterdam again.
