We just got back June 22 from a 3 day stay in Vegas. I was scared becasue I read stories about this hotel, but everything was great. We got there at 1:00 AM, checked in and were upgraded to a new room in tower 2 for free. Being on first floor has advantages and disadvantages. No elevator just walk to your room. No view though. Everything was nice for the price, plus MGM is close, Luxor is connected via skyway. The tram is at MGM so you can go anywhere. This is vegas I just wanted a nice clean place to sleep for a couple hours. The shower has excellent water pressure and is huge, no tub though. Dicks Last Resort is good food, but they charge 10.00 a drink if they have music. The breakfast buffet seems more like a cafeteria than a buffet though. I like the fact the security guards ask for your room key to get in the hallway.

overall a good hotel but suited for family's or parents with kids. The hotel looks like a castle so it's very appealing to the young.

They "upgraded" us to stay in Tower II, which was very nice. First night in the room seemed to be not quite as clean as I would expect, particularly the bathroom, but each subsequent day the cleaning crew did a marvelous job, beyond my expectations. Hotel is good place for kids - close to other hotels with kid friendly attractions and includes an arcade downstairs, which isn't as fancy as others, but a little quieter and good for just chilling out after a long day sightseeing.
