If you are planning to spend all your time on the strip, this is not convenient.

A good place to stay at a reasonable price if you are on a budget. Walking distance to Freemont Experience and many restaurants.

Lots of noise after 2am as various peoples would have arguments. This happened all three nights I was there. The bed was very hard. On the first night, I got about 12 channels on the TV. The other nights, about 6. None of them were ESPN. Patrons of a nighclub seem to take up most of the parking on Saturday night.

Vegas during the month of May was very hot and I would have enjoyed taking a dip in the pool. Unfortunately the pool was not clean and had various bugs and things floating in the water. Really was not appealing. All said, the hotel was good.

The hotel does looks kind of old, but the rooms have been remodeled recently and the furniture looks and feel brand new. Good option if you dont mind to be 2 blocks from Las Vegas Downtown.

Obviously had just been renovated- in fact workmen were still there doing other rooms. Room was very clean and beds quite comfortable. Only 3 complaints:1.Complimentary coffee was offered but if you did not get there before 8 a.m. or earlier, it was gone and no more would be made; 2. The plastic key card rarely worked more than once and the lock to our room was jammed so a strong shoulder was needed shove the door open; 3. There is a nightclub on premises and patrons are allowed to use all of the parking spaces supposedly reserved for motel customers.

If you're looking for a cheap place to stay it's fine. But I wouldn't stay here again.

Hotel was within 2 blocks of Fremont experience, kitty corner to El Cortez. Rooms had just been refurbished and were clean, and comfortable. Club next door was noisy but, I was tired enough that I fell asleep. The pool was supposedly temporarily closed due to a city infraction of some sort but, you could still sit around the area and enjoy the sunshine.

Bus to the Strip 5 min walk away $5 per day (24 hr) unlimited usage - 20 min ride to the Stratosphere, 60 min to Luxor (approx). Buses run 24hrs during the day 1 bus every 5-10 min, at night 15-30min. Much cheaper than taxis and the monorail (which only covers the strip)

I expected motel was more dirty, but that was not so bad. you can stay there if you want to stay with cheap money. and its really closer to downtown. you can go strip by taking bus called the deuce in 30min. and bus stop is super close to motel6.
