Not impressed at all

Dirty hotel room, carpet were filthy, air conditioner very week, had to leave the door open between rooms to cool off the day. Needs a complete renovation.

Needs a freshen up but good enough for my purpose

Probably one of the best deals moneywise on the strip. Being at the extreme North end it meant you could travel the entire length of The Strip and miss nothing. Being at that end also meant that it was one of the older hotels but for the money well worth it.

Basic but clean and good value

A good budget hotel with a chracter and history. Rooms large and clean but fairly basic. Basic facilities but a good, comprehensive casino with low table limits. Useful that it is on the monorail route and bus route.

Stay somewhere else...

Very old hotel and not very nice. It looks nice on the website, but not in person. Next time I'm in Vegas, I'm going to spend 20-40 extra per night in a nicer place.

Not impressed

Was not impressed at all with the overall quality of the hotel. We visited other older hotels that were kept up and clean so I think they could have done a better job.

Better than expected..

Most of the shops and bars are at the main strip..I would suggest using the Monorail 3-day pass for $24 from 7am-2am..Great save..MGM bar centrifuge is open till 6am with great music and dancers!!!

It's Okay for the money

We were in town for a convention. The Sahara was near the hotel where the convention was being held. We did not pay much for the hotel so I am not going to complain very much but it is an older hotel with issues of an older hotel. Our shower broke while we were there. There were large stains on the carpet in the room and our room had a funny smell to it. Also, the air conditioning worked but not well. If you are in need of a cheap hotel at that end of the strip it is probably fine but we will not stay there in the future.

You get what you pay for.

For being the price I paid for this hotel it was about what I expected. Check in was a nightmare and I waited in line for nearly an hour seeing as they only had two people working the front desk. The rooms were kept clean everyday. Beds were ok to sleep on. The pool area is great play good music and have good drinks. Also is very close to the monorail which is nice to get down the strip. If you are on a budget and don't mind waiting in line for a decent room book this hotel otherwise pay a little more and get a little nicer.
