Lunch choices include fish and chips, strip steak, soups, sandwiches, salads, and burgers. The Archives Bar - Expansive bar/lounge popular with locals after work. Green leatherette banquettes, upholstered seating, square bar. Big-screen television. Lunch/dinner menu with choices such as fried mozzarella, lemongrass spring rolls, soups, salads, burgers, and pizza.
The hotel's 12,000-square-foot health club includes a 75-foot, four-lane, indoor lap pool and a spa tub. Complimentary aerobics classes are conducted in the pool twice weekly. Overlooking the pool is a large fitness center containing cardio machines, weight equipment, and free weights.

Three miles from the hotel, Brooklyn's 526-acre Prospect Park offers indoor/outdoor tennis, bird watching, and horseback riding. Rental pedal boats and electric-boat tours are available on the park's lake from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Wollman Rink opens for ice skating in the winter. Hiking and nature trails wind through the park's wooded area.
