It was our first time going to New York and given the cheap price of the hotel, we weren't expecting much from it. But we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to a great location- right on broadway so a busy street which feels safe and plenty of buzzing places to eat and socialise. The service was great with fresh towels and sheets everyday (which is luxury for hostel living!). the staff were friendly and helpful and there were plenty of young people around the place which made it a lively and friendly place. At the same time there were some families too which gave it a homely feel. We stayed with 4 other people in our room and we gained a friend who also came from the uk.. we had breakfast with her every morning so its very easy to make friends.
