I was spending a weekend in New York (off the back of a business trip) so I transfered to The Fitzpatrick Manhattan, from my company sourced hotel, saving $110 per night. The hotel was very well located and the staff where very helpful/friendly. The room whilst smaller than my earlier hotel (and with no view) was well appointed and comfortable. Definitely recommend staying there, as its a terrific value for money.
"Will definitely NOT be returning to this hotel"by G from Dublin
No Porter to carry in suitcases from taxi - had to wait outside for someone to eventually help me. Room not ready at 3.00 in afternoon - given a coffee but told by waitress serving me that rooms are NEVER ready on time. Room very small & dark & facing DIRECTLY on to another room. We could look at persons in other room & vica versa. Several TV stations not available throughout our stay (all local New York news & current affairs stations & SHOULD have been available. When we enquired about this, we were informed that there was a problem & that it would be resolved. However it was NOT resolved during our stay of 4 days. Staff on Service Desk had no knowledge of local train transportation - we had to go to local Waldorf Astoria Hotel to get correct knowledge.
