"Good Value Hotel with Helpful Staff"

I booked this room for five nights with a friend as a last resort. I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, there is no elevator, but there are nice strong men available to carry your bags if you need it. Yes, you get woken up at five in the morning by the pipes, but once you know what that is, it's easy to turn over and continue sleeping. It's location is quite far from the central tourist area or financial area but if you like to walk, there are lots of shops to be seen from the walk down and there's a bus and subway stop nearby so you'll always have those links. My primary motivation for this trip was to show a friend round new york and she definitely enjoyed it. We even found parking on the first night there, although having a car in NYC is sheer stupidity. The staff were very helpful, even offering to open the bar after it was closed. All in all, enjoyable, comfortable and a relaxing stay was had in Marrakech.” 01/06/2009
