Go for a Sunday morning run or walk in Central Park - close to the hotel and quiet before 9am.

My wife and I were welcomed to the Loews Regency with a rose and a tuneful "Happy Birthday" from the Receptionists. This exemplified the friendliness and attention to detail that we encountered throughout our stay. All the staff were extremely courteous and nothing seemed too much trouble. I am a wheelchair-using paraplegic and the unobtrusive adaptations in the hotel and room were some of the best that I have encountered. Considering the quality of the hotel and its location, our stay was exceptionally good value.

2 words describe the Loews Regency....Service and Hospitality....I have stayed there twice now, and have felt very "taken care of" while visiting. I look forward to another visit....

Book a bike trip around New York. You cycle to places of various interests in a group.We went to Harlem, a gospel church and a local Harlem diner to eat with the locals. I would not of done this on my own.

The hotel is perfectly located for most anything you need or want to see in NYC. Many things are within walking distance. The subway line is very close to get to Lower Manhattan and any cab ride from the hotel is inexpensive. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The room's decor has a very simple and clean feel to it which I enjoyed. Overall I would most definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to anyone traveling to the city.

Book at Big Apple Greeter - I had a fabulous day out with a guide - they will introduce you to a part of NY you didn't know existed. And do use public transport, if you've ever used the London underground you will find the NY subways a fast and efficient way to travel around the city.

Went to Feinsteines which is part of the hotel - excellent late night piano late with dinner - and then upstairs to bed!

Terrific place to stay, great location. Very expensive to eat in the hotel but lots of good delis' and restaurants near by.The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The room very clean and comfortable.
