This hotel is ideally located 1 minute walk from Times Square, staff were very pleasant and the room was adequate for the price we paid ..we were hardly ever in it due to the sightseeing.

The hotel was a block from Times Square and a subway station so the location was perfect for exploring the whole of Manhattan. The hotel itself was ok, the room was pretty small but the beds very comfortable. It was a bit of a dungeon as had no natural light, but if you are just using the hotel as somewhere to sleep and not somewhere that you want to spend time in then it's fine! The ensuite bathroom was functional. No breakfast at hotel but I prefered this as there are so many great little delis and diners to try anyway. So to summarise, fantastic location and for the price I would definitely recommend!

Friendly helpful staff, but room quite cramped and could do with new clean carpet and a paint job!

The hotel was perfect considering the price. Very simple but clean. Staff was nice and the location it's just perfect. 2 minutes from Times Square

The location of this hotel really couldn't be any better, around 100 yards from Times Square. It's a bit basic, but who stays in their room when they go to New York? If you like drinking its right by a quality bar called the Pig N Whistle. I would recommend staying here!!

It's official, it's a dump. We stayed here once before for a week and it was bearable but the standards have steadily lowered. The hotel smells of bacteria filled warm carpet/ much loved childs blanket. The bath was a choice shade of dirt, if dirt was a colour. The television worked. That was a positive, I guess. Stay here if you are drinking a lot. I stayed in a tenement building once with one toilet for 29 rooms, I drank my way through that so it's possible to do. Good Luck and god speed if you're not wearing shoes.

We were pleased with the hotel, it is basic but clean and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The lift worked fine and there was a good Diner opposite the hotel. The best thing was that we were less than 100 yards from Times Square and that was worth a lot.

Hotel is in a poor condition with the lobby and front area undergoing renovation. Room was clean but of poor quality and tired. We had to pay to leave our luggage in an empty room before we departed which was a bit tight of the hotel. Other hotels provide this for free.
