"Poor quality for the price"by P from Birmingham
Stayed at the Radisson for 3 nights from Saturday 4th April- not impressed with the hotel work that was being done outside in the early hours of the morning. Recieved poor quality of service from several members of staff within the hotel, including housekeeping who failed to bring clean towels to my room two days running. The first night the room that we were in had a leaking roof with a lot of water being held in the ceiling. Was not happy with the amount I paid for this hotel- will book the hilton again next time as it is well worth the money.
"Good location"by J from Leicestershire
Nice hotel, accessible by underground station nearby and within walking distance to Time Square/Broadway. We had an initial problem with check in when our room was not ready to check in at 8.15pm when we arrived!! After the first night, when we were allocated an alternative room next to the massive air conditioning units for the hotel (very noisy!), we were transferred to a lovely room on the 25th floor. The Duty manager was rather rude at first and could not understand our complaint that a pre-paid room was not available at such a late hour on our arrival, but then redeemed herself with the second room. All in all, we would return to this hotel!
"will not be going back there"by C from Surrey, UK
The first room we got was not clean, especially the bathroom. The room was tiny although I do understand it was meant to be a double room. We got moved to another room, which was cleaner but far from what I expected from a Radisson!
"Not Impressed"by S from Edinburgh
Very Very Small Rooms, lovely reception area but bedrooms leave a lot to be desired - our bath had all the enamel peeling off, and although we had booked a "petite" room you could not swing a cat in it
"very impressed and low cost"by A
The hotel is ideally located just a ten minute walk to 5th avenue.Very easy to get around the city by foot. Grand central station just a few blocks away. Very clean, nice double room- bigger than I thought it would be. Reasonably priced for the trip although breakfast not included. Hotel food very expensive but an array of restaurants on the doorstep. Would definately go back and recommend to friends for convenience, cleaniness and price
"Pretty average hotel but great location"by S from Kent
I felt that we got a good deal on the Radisson, as it was in the sale, however if i had paid the full price I would have been a little dissapointed. The location was great though, you are right in the heart of all the main attractions. The rooms were clean and basic, but pretty small and could do with being renovated. There was no tea/coffee making facilities either. When the towels were replaced they didn't give us enough for two people and did not replace the facecloths we had used but just took them away. Apart from these small things, the service was good and the hotel was great if you just want somewhere to sleep and aren't planning on staying in it too long.
"Wish I'd spent that bit extra"by P from Leeds, England
I can not praise the staff high enough for the polite and helpful manor on arrival and throughout our stay, however the room we stayed in needed a good overhaul and bit of polish ,the bed was far too soft and the bathroom was old but clean, they look dated and could do with modernising with slightly more than the flat screen TV? What ever you do DON'T get a room at the front of the hotel on windy days/ nights on our floor (3rd) its like sleeping in a noisy wind tunnel? Do not under estimate that last comment. Great location for exploring up town Manhatten.
"Midtown Secret"by A from London
This newly renovated hotel is a great find if you want to spend most of your time in the midtown shopping mecca. Rooms arwe on the small side, but that's to be expected in NY and for the price and location, it's good value. Generally clean and well staffed, even at night, it beats smaller hotels for services and has the Radisson brand attached so you can awlays complain if something were to go wrong. I would recommend it.
"Super central- good value"by J from London
Nice plasma in room. Better than average gym- cool decor. Room size was more than adequate :)
