2 blocks to the subway catch the E train downtown two stops and your at Macy's madison square penn station, best value go down to the subway and buy a ticket for twenty five dollors and you can use the buses and subway for seven days as many times as you like,there is a bus stop across the road that will bring you to the subway going east the hotel is great plenty of bars around and food places

I would stay here again for two reasons: Price & Location. The Bad: at the reception we were made to wait at check in because the chap behind the desk kept answering the phone which was very annoying. The Good: The view from our room was a surprise. The hotel is only 5 or 6 stories. We stayed on the 5th floor facing the city and was pleasantly surprised how lovely the view was. It's a 10 minute walk to Times Square from the hotel.
