Dining is NY is expensive and you are mostly paying for the atmosphere. Eating at a hole in the wall or food vendor is much less expensive and in my opinion a much better deal.

Rooms are small, but well appointed, hotel is old but well kept. We had three different rooms, all were fine. It's a good location for mid-town connection, near subway station and resturant row.

This is the 2nd stay at the Belvedere. Clean, very useful kitchenette. Staff helpful and friendly. Would stay there for a 3rd trip. The location is perfect...walking distance to everything.

The location of the hotel is excellent, within an easy walk to Times Square and convenient to the subway system's blue line. The staff was courteous and the room was nice and clean.

The hotel and the rooms in general are quite good. Elevators should be renewed. The air condition system in the rooms is not satisfying and mainly very noisy.

Make sure you queue at 2pm to get half price tickets for same day broadway Theatre.

I did not try the breakfast buffet, I thought it pricey, but there are TONS of delis and coffee shops, Starbucks, ect within a block you can walk to.

Four blocks from the Belvedere-51st and Broadway, there is a gem we've missed on all our previous visits. "The stardust" a retro restaurant that brings the 50's to life with it's decor and very talented singing staff. A truly fun way to start the day.
