We went to stay at the Carlyle for my mother's 70th birthday. The hotel staff was so attentive and kind. They offered us an upgrade without me asking for it. My mother was sent up iced-down champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries and beautiful hydrangeas with white roses, all of that was done by the hotel as a gift. Our rooms were lovely, sparkling clean and had very nice bath products, too. The staff was friendly and quick to respond to any request. I would stay there again in a heartbeat and hope that will be soon!

The carlyle is an exceptionally wondeful hotel with fabulous service. The setting is great, just a short stroll to Central Park and a short taxi ride to the theatre and many wonderful restraunts. I highly recommend this hotel.

From the greeting & registration at the front desk to the sparkling clean & well appointed rooms everything is always old world style perfection. One ongoing surprise is the continuation of The Carlyle's practice of operators in all elevators. They greet you and always give an added measure of security.
