This is a great place to stay if you want to have a European hostel experience...just do not expect more than what you pay for.

If you stay in the area, check out the PanAmerican cafe on Broadway. Amazing fresh baked goods, coffee, etc. The lox bagel and croissants are fabulous.

At the end of the day, it's a hostel. Can't expect much from it. Overall it's ok. Room is only cleaned once for the duration of your stay. A very rude receptionist, so don't expect a warm welcome. Toilet is shared by quite a lot of people, but they're cleaned daily. Just lower your expectation to a minimum and you'll find it all right.

The room was clean and so was the bathroom. The staff that helped us were nice and for the price it was good. I would recommend the hostel for young people or those who just want a place to stay that is cheap and safe.
