see all hotels in Midtown"A beautiful grand palace in the middle of New York"by D from London
An absolutely beautiful hotel and just like a palace too! I have travelled all over the world from Tokyo to Lima and would definately rate the New York Palace Hotel as my number one. The only hotel to exceed my expectations, lovely staff, top class food and rooms are lovely and luxurious. Well worth the extra dollar.
"fantastic hotel and service"by M from Ireland
My wife and I stayed in the new York palace in March for 3 nights, what a pity it wasn't for longer! The hotel is fantastic and represented excellent value. We had a beautiful room on the 34th floor. The staff and management were most courteous and went out of their way to welcome us. They had been tipped off that it was our wedding anniversary and acknowledged this each time we were at the front desk and also had chocolate coated strawberries on arrival in our room! The hotel is ideally located in Manhattan and allows easy access to all the sights and shopping. With my work over the last 10 years I have had to endure many hotels in many countries and I can honestly say that the Palace is among the best, if not the best, I have experienced. Based on our experience, I cannot but give it the highest of recommendations.
"Great location and service"by M from Horsham, UK
Stayed at the NYP for 4 nights which was my first visit to this establishment. Although this was a business trip the location was great for both business and pleasure as proximity to Central Park, 5th Avenue and some very fine restaurants all within 5-10 blocks was a bonus. The pro's are all what you would expect from a hotel in this price bracket and the staff were courteous, helfpul and professional throughout my stay. I did feel like the only guest so the personalisation went a long way. The gym whilst not huge had all the equipment I wanted and was free for guests with complimentary towel and trainer use, water and fresh fruit/health bars and the view over St Patricks was great. The only con was that there were a couple of toe clippings (not mine) in the bathroom that took up residence which should have been sucked up if the room had been cleaned thoroughly prior or during my time there. I didnt eat or drink in the hotel as I had too many external meetings so cant comment on this side of the stay. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit.
"Worth it for a wee treat"by I from Edinburgh
Well worth paying a little extra than usual for Midtown Manhattan for the perfect location and views of St Patricks Cathedral and the Rockerfeller Centre Excellent service but no free in room WiFi
"Good"by m from Dublin, Ireland
Great location, big room by NY standards, bright. Impeccable service. Great bed. Huge TV. Silent - did not hear a thing. Beware - food in the hotel is very expensive, when a great variety is on the hotel doorstep.
"Great hotel and location Terrific concierge BUT"by R from Switzerland
Great hotel and location terrific concierge but unfortunately it let itself down by the service. Although the front desk was efficient the girl never smiled. We had cups of tea in the foyer 2 afternoons and both times they got the order completely wrong or forgot.
"Fantastic hotel great location but expensive"by h from ireland
Loved the hotel, service was excellent and room was nice and spacious. It was expensive to eat there but there wereloads of options to eat elsewhere. Very close to Times Square, fifth Avenue and all main attractions to see. Would highly recommend it.
"Very nice hotel - would return"by M from London

"The Palace was a 'Palace'"by L from Newcastle
This 4 day break was a special occasion holiday, and the hotel was a major part of the enjoyment. The breakfasts were excellent, and well worth paying the extra for the executive room that included this service FOC. The free evening cocktails were tip top. The staff were excellent, accomodating and well informed. The position was great for every major attraction and I will stay here again when next in New York
