A little unfortunate but would go back for the right price

The architecture is of course impressive especially the main entrance on Park Avenue it certainly beats that normal blandness of most modern Hotels but having stayed at Hiltons all over the world I was a little dissapointed, it has to be one of the worst on service. We had a "Towers" suite and the only downside here is that they allow smoking in these rooms which was apparent with the smell when we arrived. We also had what appeared to be a couple of Tip setups with the TV repair guy turning up for no apparent reason swapping a few cables around. In general we found the service a little wanting, the main Receptionists were the most helpful and strangely the Concierge was possibly the worst and fairly rude which I could possibly understand because he may have been over worked since they put no really useful information in the rooms a local map or something would have been good, with a couple of recomendations. Over our stay we did find it amusing that the cleaners never picked up the cut "cable-tie" that the TV repair guy left about an inch under the table. I would go back because I like the location as well as the space but it would have to be some special deal which is of course what was available through using "hotels.com", now I know the area a little better I would look around.
