    Wonderful place to stay

The Tribeca Grand has attentive doormen and a nice location on the hop-on hop-off bus route in the SoHo area.

Would definitely stay at this luxurious hotel again

Our one night stay at the Tribeca Grand was the third and final hotel we stayed at during our two weeks in New York. From the moment you get to the front doors (where there is always at least two doormen waiting to hold the door for you - this can get a little much sometimes) to the moment you leave the experience is nothing but total luxury. Our check-in was quick with the staff sympathetic when our bank card wouldn't work. They handled the situation with diplomacy and warmth. The glass lifts are a wonderful feature, as is the triangle shaped atrium with a 20's style bar filled with glamour and style. We stayed on the fifth floor. The hotel is small in comparison to some of the skyscarpers we have stayed in, so the views are compact too but very New York. It was lovely to stay in. Our room included bathrobes, a fantastically powerful shower and the option of playing white noise into your room to drown out the sounds of the city if you so wished. For those who don't have a modem to access the wi-fi in the hotel room, there is free internet access in the business suite. This was very welcome after paying $15 per day for internet access in the other rooms. I once read a review for this hotel in a NY guide book which said that the hotel was pretentious and only for "beautiful people." However I complelely diagree. It was very friendly, relaxed and laid back. I would definitely stay here again.

    Very cool place to stay

We found the Tribeca Grand by accident - but what a fortunate piece of luck. An excellent location surrounded by bars and restaurants within walking distance of Soho. The hotel itself is a destination bar and we had great fun working our way through the cocktail menu. The staff are all very attentive and the concierges had both excellent knowledge and access. Rooms were spacious and well kitted out.

    Great hotel

We stayed at the Tribeca Grand for 5 nights and thought it was a perfect hotel in an ideal location for the hustle and bustle of TriBeCa and SoHo’s bars and restaurants (with a subway station a block away or a cheap taxi ride to take you to midtown). The staff were very friendly with a knowledgeable concierge who helped out with several recommendations and bookings. We thought the room was clean with a large, comfortable bed and a useful iPod docking station. The hotel bar was a very popular meeting place for locals and non locals and became very lively in the evenings, ideal for younger guests. Would definitely use the hotel again when we next visit NYC.

    Modern Funky Hotel

Our room was lovely, the service was excellent and the food and cocktails at the restaurant were delicious. The Tribeca area is cool and cultured with good subway access. The only thing I think we really should have been warned about was the noise. The hotel bar is cranking! The hotel must be designed badly because the noise of talking and music came right through to our room until 4am on the Saturday night, but earlier the other nights.
