Very efficient lifts. If you can be upgraded to business class it will be a goood experience. Try for the higher floors the views are good. The buffet breakfast is one of the best around!

This hotel was fairly centrally located and was very convenient to get to using the SAS Airport bus which stops right outside and runs about 3 times per hour (children ride for free!). The hotel itself had good facilities including a swimming pool which we enjoyed during our short stay. Service was very polite and helpful. Although we did not eat in the restaurant the bar food was good quality. The breakfast buffet was very varied and open till 10am (11am at weekends). We were not impressed with the room which, although it was clean, smelt very stale and the bathroom smelt of damp as if the extractor or air conditioning system in the hotel is not working very well. The room was a bit cramped but had a good view over Oslo being on the nineteenth floor of twenty-one. Overall a pleasant stay.

The Oslo pass is well worth the money if you ensure that you visit many attractions in the designated time. Easilty done, Vikingshiphuset, The Kon Tiki and The Fram with the Norwegian Culture Museum plus bus to and back included - enjoy

Defintely buy an oslo card and use it to the full. In 2 and a half days we made it to the National gallery (the Scream is back), National History Museum, Munsch Museum, KonTiki/Maritime/Viking Museums, Vigeland park and the Ski jump. Public transport is easy and free with the card.

On the plus side, the hotel was well-located, well-priced and we had great views from the room. On the downside, for four star hotel, it was surprisingly shabby. There were marks on the counterpane, hot drink rings on the furniture and a general 70s design vibe in the room. Breakfast was also rather disorganised. Two mornings in a row (Saturday & Sunday) they had a queue of people standing around for ages waiting for hot food. They kept running out of hot food and were not proactive about re-stocking. However the selection of food, if you could get it, was very good.
