"Difficult to get to but nice enough"

My apartment was fine. I was alone, but it would have accomodated a few people quite comfortably. The kitchen seemed well equipped. The Internet connection was very flakey, and I often got disconnected. There was a missing lightbulb in the hall, which never got replaced despite reporting it to reception, but I wasn't in the apartment much anyway. You definitely need a car and the balls to drive it in the area, with lots of steep hills and poorly surfaced roads. The hotel was hard to find when I got there, as it was late and dark and seemingly well-hidden. The garage has small parking spaces, difficult for those with a bigger or unfamiliar car. Reception was not manned 24-hour. The DVD player in my apartment was broken, but they replaced that when I reported it. I sadly didn't have chance to visit the local area, as I had work to do over in Fuengirola.” 14/05/2009
