Overall a nice hotel but for the price felt let down by the poor beds, breakfast, and no towels by the pool.
"great city hotel close to everything"by R from Cork
If you are looking for a city break in a gorgeous, well-run hotel then look no further than Hotel Molina Lario in Malaga. Fantastic location, amazing service, friendly staff and an amazing roof terrrace overlooking the dock and the city with a small pool are some of its best features. Also it is superbly located to catch a bird's eye view of the Semana Santa procession.
"Will stay again"by M from Near Dublin
Great hotel. Very central location. Number 19 bus from the airport drops you almost at the door. Malaga centre is fab...lots of great shops and restaurants. Looking forward to another visit to Malaga and couldn't pass the Molina Lario !!
"Girlfriend considered it a bit blokey!"by S from Bristol
I (male) thought it was fine, minimalist at first sight but with a lot of the little things that make a difference. Great Location. Breakfast a bit pricey. We had a 'superior room', not sure what made it that (maybe the little things). Girlfriend thought design and decor definitely 'male'.
"Room 305 a sanctuary"by S from Ireland
Arrived in hotel early on sunday morning, and we were greated by lovely staff. Delighted to get our room earlier then was printed ie 1pm. Over the next two days myself and a girlfriend (whom between us have four kids.), really enjoyed the food, church bells ringing into the roomevery morning and the overall feel of the bar at night was relaxed but had a elegant charm.
"A perfect hotel to enjoy the delights of Malaga"by I from Dorset, England
Although expensive the hotel gave good value for money. The staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful. Only two minor grumbles, but they did not change our favourable opinion of the hotel. Swimming pool was really a large tub and not too inviting and there was a lack of information regarding breakfast choices and prices. In summary, Malaga is a very good place to take time exploring and the hotel is centrally placed, yet quiet.
"Luxurious stay in Malaga"by A from Aberdeen
We found this hotel to be of the highest quality, an excellent location, very central, the staff were charming, the room was very comfortable, views fabulous from the roof top terrace. We'd go back in an instant.
"Luxury hotel in shopping area"by B from Bournemouth
This was a great spot in the middle of a huge shopping centre. Lots to eat, see, and buy.
"This hotel had it all!!"by M from Galway, Ireland
Possibly the best experience I have ever had in a hotel so far. It's location is central to the historic centre of Malaga which has loads to offer for all tastes - markets, art galleries, tea rooms, sea views and shops. I was sick with the flu when I arrived and found the comfort and relaxation fantastic. The reception staff were genuinely helpful and the bar stafff in particular were friendly and full of fun and energy. They recommended interesting and local places of interest to visit. THe computer facilities and the library were top standard. We ordered breakfast in bed and it was indeed a welcome treat on Christmas morning - tasty and plentiful. I highly recommend this hotel for value and and enjobably experience!!
"Great nights sleep"by T from London
We were travelling through Spain and only stayed in this hotel overnight but it was absolutely wonderful. For the previous two nights we had stayed in a hotel in Seville where you could hear all the other guests noise. Coming to this hotel it was lovely and quiet and we had one of the best nights sleep in a really comfy bed. Lovely big, clean room and even though it was an internal room, we even had a view of the cathedral. The hotel was also very central and we could walk absolutely anywhere with heaps of lovely restaurants and cafe's all within easy reach. If we went back to Malaga we would definitely stay at this hotel again.
