Average

This was a convenient location for the airport, so we were only here one night. The staff were not the most helpful, considering it's 4* rating. The room was clean, but the led lights for the aircon kept me awake. The breakfast was a disappointment, although buffet style the food was old and the staff unhelpfull

Good Malaga hotel for the price

Our trip was the week prior to Easter, a number of attractions were closed on the days running up to Good Friday, central restaurants have special menus (many serving just tapas), with special prices to match.

Rated as 3.5 stars, I would rate as a 5 star.

The Alacazab and Castille are great for a family excursion. It is a bit of a climb but well worth it when you reach the top. At the top of the Castille there is a little concession that is really quite reasonable and makes a great break for a light lunch and drink or ice cream.

Ideal base for exploring the Costa Del Sol

If travelling without a car, for just ?4.53 you can take an autobus from the coach station direct to Marbella (takes about 50 minutes). On the way back, it's worth taking the extra time to get the bus that stops off along the coast route. It takes longer to get back (about 1h20mins), but you get to see more of the scenic south coast.

Would stay again

Most restaurants near the hotel are frequented bu locals more than visitors and therefor it can be difficult to find staff that can speak English. We found it easier to walk into the main shopping area where you could speak broken Spanish and they spoke enough English to be understood.

Convenient location for the station

good location for travel from the airport or anywhere via the railway station, therefore also good for picking up hire cars. 10 minutes walk from town centre, some nice local cafes/bars nearby. Most rooms have sea-view (over the port area). Rooms very comfortable, with good facilities. Only thing I would have liked to be there but wasn't - coffee making facilities. was satisfied with stay and VFM.

A short walk from the town

Located on a busy dual carriageway with many one way streets in the area. If your driving, get a good street map or you may have trouble finding it.
