had ants in room at first but they give us something to get rid of them. pool was cold but refreshing at times.

apartments are very tired looking and basic, the balconys are not very private, but the staff are very helpful and the hotel is kept clean. The pool and openair bar are great very large pool for the size of the hotel with plenty of loungers and grass to lay on. Fenals is just outside the madness of Lloret de mar and only a 5 minute walk from the hotel which is perfect. Overall we were more than happy with our choice, but i would not like to be in the hotel when it is high season as it can get very noisy as the floors are all tiled and if the people above you are moving furniture around the whole floor can hear it ! very handy having a small supermarket next door and fresh pastries just across the road. any questions you might have the reception staff will be more than happy to help you.

The apartments were exactly what we were looking for. They were clean,adequate with enough space , but nothing special. Little details would niggle people who had paid top money; the shower head wouldn't stay on the wall.Our main crteria was location and good value so we were not bothered. We didnt spend much time in the aparrtments anyway.The pool area was brilliant. The pool was clean with plenty of beach loungers. Lovely views from the poolside of the sea, distant hills and beautiful villas. We spent alot of time here. There is a supermarket next door. The far superior fenals beach is literally 5 minutes walk. This is full of locals and holidaying Spanish - very quiet family atmosphere. No hawkers or sellers. tree lined; much nicer than the main lloret beach. But the main areas of bars and shops of lloret are a 10 minute walk n the other direction. The bus station is only 10 minutes walk. So what Balero park has got going for it is cleanliness of rooms, friendly staff, superb pool with a pool side bar/ cafe pub downstairs and fab location.
