Catch the bus to the airport rather than taking the train and changing in Barcelona. The bus took 25 minutes and costs e2.80 per person. Also head for Alberto beach if you want some chilled out beats whilst soaking up the sun!

This hotel is in a good location,on the edge of the old town and facing the sea. It is basic but clean and the beds are comfortable.

Try "Can Marti", the restaurant just across the street for excellent local cuisine and friendly service - pricey but worth it.

The hotel is in a great location, sports bar downstairs ok for a drink, or to sit on outside terrace, but just around the corner great choice of bars and more inexpensive restaurants.

I spent 4 nights at the Hotel Subur in May and was generally happy, as we paid a very reasonable amount for our twin room. I would not rate it at 3 stars. The room was comfortable enough and we had a balcony giving a side view of the sea, which was literally across the road, so location was great. There was a lot of noise from street cleaning machinery and roadworks quite early in the morning. I was rather disappointed with the bathroom as the bath towels were on the small side, there was no surface to put clothes etc on while in shower (except a small stool) and the only soap and shampoo provided was in dispensers and quite watery. The Sports Bar was good - friendly service, internet access and a door out on to the promenade where you could sit. Worst bit was trying to park a car in Sitges and we ended up paying 25 euros per day to leave it all week in the car park behind the hotel. But all in all, I'd certainly recommend the Subur for the location and value for money.

As a cheaper option the hotel was fine. the biggest problem is that you get no sleep. The hotel is positioned on Sitges busiest corner. So from the bin men at 2.30 through to people going to work at 6.00am there is a consent traffic noise.
