Location. Hotel Veracruz is located in Sitges, Spain, within 100 metres of the beach and the promenade of Passeig Maritim. Sitges' old town is 700 metres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. This modern three-storey hotel is situated on a street corner in the centre of Sitges. The air-conditioned front desk at Hotel Veracruz is open around the clock and can assist guests with airport transfers (surcharge) or tourist excursions.

From Barcelona Airport (BCN):
Distance to Hotel Veracruz is 25 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.

Getting there. A bus departs directly for Sitges from in front of Terminal B. There is a train station a short walk away from the airport terminals. From the train station, go to El Prat de Llobregat station and change for the train to Sitges station. Taxi ranks are located in front of the terminal buildings, and the fare to Hotel Veracruz is approximately 75 EUR. The hotel can organise airport transfers for a surcharge. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Sitges has an efficient and inexpensive bus network in operation. The city is well connected to Barcelona and the rest of the country by an extensive train network.

Driving directions. From Barcelona Airport.
Take the C32 in the direction of Tarragona.
Exit at Sitges city centre and head in the direction of the beach.
The hotel is located in the middle of Av. Sofia.

Good location; poor room

The beaches are great, shops are upmarket and the church / architecture are fantastic. It's a beautiful and lively place to visit to chill or party, or both..

Choose a resturant or cafe that the locals are eating at as they really do know where the best food is served

Not Impressed

A good thing to remember is that all the shops are closed on New Year's Day so do all your shopping beforehand. The tube was free on New Year's Day so we went in to Barcelona but, again, only the museums etc were open but there were long queues - again, book these trips beforehand.

Not that impressive for the price paid

The hotel wasnt all that great for their charge. Something more is expected out of a star hotel.

go to orecs it is the best bar there.. happy hour from 10:30 til 1 grate bar :) very good friendly staff, service with a smile
