it is recommended to hire a car while staying in this hotel because nothing is at a short walking distance. a mart and a laundry can be found on main road after about 0.5km walking

I stayed in a two bedroom apartment with my mum and we loved it! the staff are really friendly and the hotel even under cut local taxi drivers if you want to go explore. The pictures shown are very accurate and the rooms are gorgeous. Food in the hotel is great and the pool has plenty of sun loungers so no need for getting up early to get a good spot. Its about a 10 min walk to the beach and the only down side is the hotel is at the top of a steep hill, but apart from that minor the hotel is perfect.

The first thing that struck me when arriving at the hotel was that it was 400m away from the main road partly up a steep incline. This turned out to be more a blessing than a problem - secluded and quiet away from the hustle and bustle but within a 10 minute walk or 2 minute taxi if you want it - it's there! The hotel staff are friendly, the service excellent, the rooms and hotel areas are clean and the food and drink was delicious. The pool area (on the roof) is relatively small but large enough as long as guests don't block the beds when they are not using them and the view is amazing

if you like something else then the traditional Thai food ... try the NZ steak ... very nice for a change

The Karon beach is at least a 20 min walk from the hotel. They were renovating this place, so it was a little noisy during our stay. Otherwise, the hotel was clean and the ocean views from the room were awesome. I was traveling with kids and to walk 20 mins after a dip in the ocean in the hot sun made it a bit difficult. O

If you are looking for a quiet resort hotel with most facilities, at extremely attractive rates, Pacific Club Spa is for you to consider. It is not "Lagoona Beach" or a 5* place. However, the rooms with balcony are very spacious, clean and a very helpful staff. The restaurant at the hotel also provides an estensive menu at reaoanble prices. The downsides are very minor - the reastaurant staff needs an extensive course in bar-tending - but they do make-up with an excellent service. The outside amenities are few and the place is quite isolated, is about 1 km from the beach. To compensate this their TV channels selection is extensive, including HBO etc. Shopping is good in Patong beach - about 250 Bats (or $8 each way taxi trip). Overall we would rate the hotel as a 3-4*. We enjoyed our stay.

The complex is quiet and relaxed but close enough to the nightlife in the evening to enjoy a bit of both. The bungalows were clean and nice and the pool was gorgeous with a magnificent backdrop of the cliffs. Tne staff at reception were very friendly. When we stayed the lady was raising a one month old kitten she had rescued from under the buingalow it was so cute!

Do the James Bond Island by Longtail boat and the Phi Phi Islands by Speedboat...but don't do the Eco Safari!! Dinopark in Kata/Karon is great fun. Green Chilli Restaurant - one of the cheapest and delicious eats you will find in Karon.
