This is a comfortable hotel conveniently located for access to museums, theater and opera. However, the hotel is undergoing renovation and the sound of workmen drilling in the morning somewhat diminishes its charm.

We had paid extra for a "King Deluxe" but there was nothing king or deluxe about this room, firstly the hotel is covered in scaffolding, not the best but hey it is due for a refurbishment so you could live with that, the bathroom had the recessed spotlights hanging out by the wire, it has a smell of an old folks home, the decor is so old and in bad need of a huge renovation, the king deluxe bed is actually two single matress' pushed together, this was booked as a romantic weekend away for Xmas and I am sorry I booked it, the staff were friendly and their service is good but its worrying when the only nice features of a hotel are the reception and staircase. (location a plus point if wanting to watch a show, for the money its better to book across the road in the Kenilworth, also Radisson Edwardian but loads better)

Dank and dreary, reminded me of the overlook in the Shining! Room appeared that it hadn't been used for a long, long time. Saw a big bug, pretty sure it was a cockroach, good location though...
