It is a typical Marriott, great standard, good size rooms, clean, & comfortable. Parking next door for 9 pounds per day. Very central location.

Extremely clean hotel and in a good location for centre of Bristol. However air conditioning is incredibly noisey!

excellent service by the staff from the moment we entered the hotel till leaving, having dined in we found the food to be of excellent quality and the helpings very large, the room was clean well equipped and the daily service was excellent

Since Bristol is less crowded than the area around London, and since the train service to points of interest is fantastic, this Marriott is idea as a base for travel to Bath, Salisbury, the Cotswolds, and the surrounding area. Travel into London from Bristol Temple Meads is a breeze.

The quay, Arnolfini, the old town and market, (if you like pies there's a great pie cafe)are all worth a visit. A must is the SS Great Britain. For independent, different shops go to Clifton village.

Like all Marriott hotels, clean and comfortable room with enough space for my son's travel cot. I loved the breakfast, lots of choice. Staff helpful and polite. The car park couldn't be nearer but its a shame the hotel is in the middle of a builders site at the moment. However, it looks like it'll be in a thriving regenerated corner of the city when work is completed.

Spent one night, room are quite spacious. The room was very clean apart the minibar which was dirty with milk spillage and the shower curtain was mouldy !! However the rest was very clean and well maintain. The hotel is well located and just a few minutes walk from the shopping area. Did not try breakfast or restaurant but it seems to be of a good price. Would definately recommend to stay there.

If you walk through the park across the road from the hotel, you will get to bar areas a lot quicker. For shops, (u can ask staff which are v helpful), but just turn right out of hotel, then left, walk up a slight hill and on your right is the shops. Perfect location.

Try Flavourz restaurant near Hippodrome thearte. Buffet style, eat as much as you want; chinese, italian, mexican and indian.
