This was a very nice apartment, the beds very comfortable, basically a home away from home. You even get enough to make yourself breakfast the following morning, which is a nice touch. The only things that took away from our stay was 1) there is building going on right next door and they do start early enough, half 7. So if you're a light sleeper, then don't stay here. Next, the receptionist seemed to be in an awful hurry, not even showing us our apartment, and rushing through everything she had to say. Overall it was really nice and I would come back again.

Lothian Road is a few minutes away to the east. There are some Sainsbury's, Tesco and Scotmid mini markets here for you to stock up on essentials if you are staying for a few days and want to save on breakfast, snacks and beers.

We found a nice restaurant on the walk into town called Bar Italia. The fact that two italian families were there enjoying their meal was confirmation enough of how nice it would be. We had 2 courses and wine for £35 which I felt was very reasonable for somewhere to central.

We stayed for 2 nights in a 2 bed room apartment, so good value for 4 people. The apartment was well equipped and clean, and the reception staff pleasant and helpful. It is in easy walking distance of all the main attractions and has its own parking at £6 a day. Extensive building work is going on, but these had no impact on our stay. Would certainly consider using again if going back to Edinburgh

Good location for centre of Edinburgh. The lady at reception couldn't have been more helpful. The lounge/kitchen is perfect for breakfast and then lazying around after a long day and before going for dinner. Much better than expected for what seemed like a good price.

This was a great base for our stay in Scotland...the kitchen and laundry facilities in the suite were great - everything you could think of...so cooking a meal was easy and fun. The bed was only a double which was abit squashed but ok. The cleaning was a bit poor and let the place down. Staff were helpful and kind.Free parking at rear of hotel. Directions could be improved as we found Edinburgh is quite easy to get lost in....

Would definitely recommend anyone staying there. It was a great size and unbelievable clean. All the amenities that were needed were there.
