This is the worst hotel experience of my life. There was no hot water and the bathroom was gross. The bed was so old and springy, it was impossible to sleep, not to mention the noise and vibration from the elevator right next door. But the worst thing is the attention, the staff were not only not helpful but were actually rude. Please don't stay there, you'll regret it!!!

I would say as long as you don't expect too much before arriving here, you won't be dissapointed. And if you are happy to stay in very basic accommodation then these apartments will be fine for you. The location we thought was ok however be prepared to spend at least five pounds each way or more in a taxi to get into the thick of it, ie to the restaurants and bars etc.

Head for nearby Leith or Stockbridge, instead of the City Centre, for great bars and restaurants and some local colour. Also, check your check-in details!

The room was clean, but very small. No table to eat on even though there is a kitchen. Our heater didnt work which forced my girlfriend and me to sleep close (not so bad.) The biggest issue is that the check in for the hotel is NOT the hotel.com address. It is 6 Queen St near the train station. we walked all the way to the room first, then had to walk all the way back with all our things. Rather annoying. The front desk wasnt very sympathetic and blames hotels.com Also, do NOT eat the food in the room that is left for you lest you pay the £50 conveinence fee. If you just need a place to crash, its fine. Fairly good value for what you get.
