"Perfectly adequate for a fleeting visit"

I have stayed in many London hotels ranging from the very bad to the good and must say that this came under the 'good'. The staff were brilliant, really friendly and attentive even though we only stayed one night and the room (a twin) was big enough for two with a little room to spare! The beds were comfy and clean, the bathroom spotless and the hairdryer one of the best I've encountered in a hotel! There are only two 'negatives'. Firstly, there was quite a lot of building work happening directly over the road, this carried on until past 2 in the morning and started early, although I had expected some noise being opposite to Victoria station I couldn't hear any trains at all, just drilling. Also the bathroom door is glass and therefore see-through and unlockable. I thought this quite odd in a shared twin room. Overall, I would stay again.” 06/07/2009
