Located in the centre of fashionable Mayfair, the Flemings Mayfair Hotel is situated on a peaceful residential street with the best of central London's attractions, shopping, restaurants and theatres at its doorstep. First built in 1851, this historic property was converted from five Georgian townhouses. Today, it's restored to its former Georgian glory, with unique contemporary and elegant interiors.
Stepping into the hotel, guests will find a gleaming marble lobby adorned with flowers and objets d'art. The Library and Drawing Room offer a relaxing location for traditional Afternoon Tea, a pre-dinner drink and light meals during the day, whilst the restaurant offers modern British cuisine for both lunch and dinner. Multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk can help with currency exchange, and Internet access (surcharge) is also available at reception. Complimentary gym facilities are available nearby for those who like to keep fit (Monday to Friday only), and guests who prefer to retire to their rooms after a hard day's shopping or sightseeing can make use of the 24-hour room service.
This intimate hotel features 119 stylish and elegant guestrooms and suites located on four floors. All are individually designed. Guestrooms include high-speed Internet access (surcharge), minibars, direct-dial phones, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary newspapers, and extend to private bathrooms with bathrobes, hairdryers and complimentary toiletries.
Shopping fans will love the designer and high-street shops on Bond Street and Oxford Street, which are both less than a mile from the hotel. The Royal Academy arts centre and Buckingham Palace are a half-mile away. The nearest airport is London Heathrow, which is 13 miles (21 kilometres) from the hotel and takes around 50 minutes by car.

A great hotel but not on Friday
It was a Friday and I was ill and needed some sleep, but the loud music was blaring out well into the night. There was no advance warning and it's a terrible way to treat guests who want to sleep. A complaint brought an apology, but no offer of any compensation.

Will not hesitate to go back!
Great hotel in a great location. Very near green park underground which was perfect for getting around. 2 min. walk and you have some nice little bars and cafes at Shepards Market. We also headed to Mahiki which is just donw the street, what a great night with some great drinks!
