Only stayed overnight but a very comfortable stay. Our room overlooked the tree- lined square; lovely and peaceful. Only minor point I would make is the hairdryer kept in the dressing table draw by the bed- would be more convenient to have it located in the bathroom.
"Great hotel to use for London sightseeing"by L from Florida, USA
This was an excellent place for us to stay, within walking distance of Westminster Abbey, the London Eye, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, and Victoria station. I would choose this location again - much value for the price! As I read from another reviewer, the bathroom is tiny (yes, you can wash your hands while sitting), however, the bathtub is large, clean, and comfy, and the entire bathroom is tiled in marble. Tiny but gorgeous. This is London, though! If you want a huge room, you'll have to move into a much higher price range. The concierges were very friendly and door help was always eager to catch taxis for those who wanted them. Room service prices looked average (we didn't use it, though). However, breakfast at the hotel is outrageously expensive. Several cafes can be found within one or two blocks (open for breakfast) and many pubs and restaurants are within easy walking distance.
"Not quite like advertised"by C from Leeds
The hotel has a 4* rating yet I found the room to be more 3* than 4*. I can understand that the other rooms in the hotel (or the more expensive rooms) might be the 4* they so eagerly advertise, but if the room I get isnt 4* then its feels like I've been misled. They didn't provide clean sheets on the bed each night and my room didn't even have a little refridgerator/minibar! The hotel otherwise was nice - nice and clean, friendly staff, close to westminster abbey. Its just the room was a little small.
