Standard of service here was excellent - staff were absolutely wonderful and are the main positive relating to this hotel. Hotel is dated in appearance and the room was rough round the edges but room was clean and comfortable enough. Location is good, however nearest tube is a good 15 minute walk. Aside from this the area is excellent. Breakfast was great value.
"A nice hotel to stay in"by N
Everything was pretty fine and the breakfasts are great.
"Old and tired Hotel"by K from London
The only positives are the location, breakfast and staff. Not impressed with the rest. If you book this hotel expect dirty old carpet, chipped bath and old TV. I probably wont go back.
"Overall it wasn't bad"by C from South Wales
My wife & I turned up early. The room wasn't ready but they were happy to look after our cases for us. The staff were friendly. Check-In was very easy, but I still don't understand why I was asked if I preferred a smoking or non smoking room, only to be then told that only non smoking was available. Why even ask? The room was clean and more than adequately furnished but could use a facelift, and the air conditioning was totally ineffective. At least it was possible to open the windows, albeit only slightly. The bed was comfortable enough though. Since we were going to the Hammersmith Apollo, the location was almost perfect. Out of the main door, turn right and walk for about 20 minutes. Otherwise, a taxi will cost around £4.50. Breakfast was buffet style, with a good selection and a pleasant dining area. I would stay here again. Yes, there are some minor niggles as mentioned, but for the price it was a good deal and a pleasant stay.
"Happy to recommend this hotel to anyone"by M from Kent
I stayed at the Hilton, with my daughter, so we could attend The Wedding Show at Olympia. It is a short, 5 minute walk to the exhibition halls and Olympia tube. Also buses stop almost outside. The check-in was fast and efficient and our room was lovely. The only slight criticism was the slowness of service in the restaurant, but the food was excellent
"my opinion"by B from Glasgow, Scotland
Nice hotel, but not a 4 star as its been given...wasn't very impressed with some of the staff - lacked customer service skills. Arrived early that day and had no problem with the early check in at all. One thing which is 4 star, is the buffet breakfast!!! There was a very good selection and did cater for healthy eaters too! Bus service was excellent and even though the tube was a good 15 min walk, it was handy sometimes especially if you over indulged at the buffet breakfast!!! Overall, I would go back and use that hotel but the staff need to be a bit more friendlier.........
"Ignore the negative reviews"by C from Leicester
I was a little worried after reading a few negative reviews, but nothing to worry about. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from olympia tube station, fine for any able bodied person!!! Hotel was nice and clean, we were very lucky and got put in one of their brand new rooms which was amazing. Overall, nice clean hotel, with good service, you know whta your going to get with a hilton
"London transport access lets it down!"by B from York
Great value hotel with very clean rooms and an excellent buffet style breakfast. The only thing that lets it down is it's location in relation to the London Underground system. It's close to Olympia tube station but that line only operates a service every 20 mins from Earls Court - the next nearest station being Kensington High Street which is a walk/taxi of about a mile. Not good!
"Excellent hotel for location and price"by M from Frankfurt
I was slightly worried when I read all the negative reviews however our stay for 3 nights at this hotel was excellent. The hotel is a little tired but the room was clean, everything worked, the staff friendly and the breakfast very good. The tube is a little out of the way but buses stop directly outside and take you to most places you would want to go. You can not really complain about the tube and the noise, this is central London - I lived here for 20 years and you are never far away from it! Highly recommended
"Not impressed"by C from Somerset
