Description


Location. The London Bridge Hotel is a neoclassical landmark in London, England, 300 metres south of the River Thames. Borough Market, the famous food market, is 100 metres away, while Bermondsey antiques market is 500 metres from the hotel. The Tate Modern art gallery and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre are both half-a-mile away. The hotel is 300 metres from London Bridge Tube station and 19 miles from London Heathrow Airport (LHR).
Hotel Features. The 1915 frontage of the London Bridge Hotel has been fully restored to reveal ornate stone carvings, and inside, the lobby features a traditional fireplace.

Londinium Restaurant has red suede furnishings and walnut floor, and serves modern British cuisine. Malaysian, Chinese and Tamil Indian dishes are on the menu at Georgetown restaurant, decorated in colonial style. Borough Bar and Dining is a modern, informal bar offering drinks and food.

The London Bridge Hotel's five meeting rooms provide space for up to 100 people and can also be used for private dining. There is wireless Internet access in all public areas (surcharge).

The onsite Fitness First Health Club houses a sauna and cardiovascular equipment including rowing machines, treadmills and cross trainers.

Did the job!

Just around the corner from London Bridge station. Our room was small (as are all rooms in London!), but very clean and nicely decorated, so as not to feel too hotel-ey. Overall pretty decent value for money, and good train and bus links.

absolutely brilliant

wonderful hotel, lovely, comfortable and clean rooms. staff very helpful. within walking distance of most sights. cant wait to go back

Great place to stay

My husband and I stayed for 1 night. We picked this hotel for convenient location (mainline station) and the price. It is only a very short walk from London Bridge station and therefore we could leave our luggage on Sunday am and explore easily. We went to Tate Modern and St Pauls. Then we collected luggage on our way to the station. Our room was comfortable with a spacious bathroom. Staff were helpful including very easy check-in. No complaints!

Great location and lovely rooms

Clean, modern rooms and perfect location right next to London Bridge station. Short walk to the river, where there are lots of restaurants/bars. The only negative was that the ceiling in the corridor outside our room was being replaced so workmen woke us up early on the Monday morning. Will definitely try to stay here next time I come to London!

compact but sufficient

We found the hotel easily and booked in with no trouble. Our room was small but nicely furnished and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was also small and was starting to show it's age. the bath mat had the 'remains' from other visitors on it which was not great. Our room was quiet but my friends room was noisy and woke them up early.

Great Value!

London Bridge isn't the most popular part of the city, but the South Bank renovation has made it one of our favourites. This is a great little hotel only a few feet from the tube and rail station. Great value for money. We hope to go back soon.
