Great location; very comfortable

If you don't want to take the tube to Heathrow, it is cheaper to arrange a car service than to take a London cab. However, the hotel next door will give you a number to call their car service which is much cheaper than the one Marriott uses.

Good position but nothing out the ordinary

Hotel is part of a shared building and can be quite disorientating at first. Reception lacks focus and impression. Expensive for the quality, would try somewhere more grand for the same money next time.

Best Hotel in London.

Big Ben, The London Eye, Westminister Abbey, Parliament, Downing St. are all right there, as well as fantastic views of the Thames & the Westminister Bridge.

BEST LOCATION IN LONDON!!!!!

My husband and 2 girls, 14 & 10, traveled to London for their first time this past March 2008. The Marriott County Hall exceeded all our expectations: beautiful historic building, large spacious rooms, friendly and knowledgeable staff, amazing views of Big Ben and Parliament, located on the Thames river walk beside the London Eye, easy walk to Covent Garden area......the list goes on! We would recommend this hotel to our family and friends and we would definitely return!

What a treat

The hotel was in a great location, the room was great, the staff were all delightful. The food in the hotel was lovely, but pricey - try to get breakfast included if possible. I asked for allergy free pillows which were a bit hard!!

Wonderful place to stay away from home!

We`absolutely loved the hotel. It was convenient to the tube and bus transportation. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were quite helpful. Our requests before the trip were all made. We also asked for a view when we arrived and they accommodated our wish. We only had a problem one morning with the fire alarm going off. They let us know quickly there was no reason to evacuate, the cause came from the kitchen. The same morning there was no hot water for showers. I do believe this was not common and all was handled professionally. We would definately return to this hotel
