Ideal-will return!

We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel! The location is perfect-we did not use any other transport from arriving at King's Cross to returning 2 days later!! The vicinity seemed safe and friendly with bars, shops and a Tescos a couple of doors away. The room was very well furnished, the bed was very comfortable, my only negative was something that does seem to lack in a lot of hotels-a mirror or better still an area to dry and style hair-very important to the ladies!! I would still return to the Park Inn! The bar was comfortable and the staff friendly. The breakfast was delish, the staff friendly and efficient.

Will defintely use this hotel again on our next visit to London

I checked reviews of many hotels in the Bloomsbury area, as our stay included a visit to the theatre and this hotel received high marks from previous reviewers. My wife and I found the reviews lived up to expectations and would definitely use this hotel again on future visits to London. The room had all necessary facilities and the bathroom was one of the most modern furnished ones we have ever experienced. The buffet breakfast is excellent, with a wide choice of food.

Keep this a secret

Stayed 3 nights for business in London Centre. Rooms are modern with all you need. Housemaid called to check room had everything I needed.Soap/shower gel provided, tea, coffee biscuits. Cute hairdryer and flat screen TV. Iprefer a firmer bed, but the mattress was ok for my roomate. Breakfast is very good & eve meal has a fair selection.Decent Bar serves food[but I didn't check menu] Check in/out quick & courteous, with facility to store your luggage if required. Good concierge.

Small rooms but Modern

The hotel is further from the tube station than stated in the blurb but still in a good location near plenty of cafe's. Nice reception area with a decent bar, although the bar did shut at midnight even though there were residents still drinking and chatting. The rooms are very small. The double bed was pushed up against one wall to enable you to enter the room and access the bathroom. The bathroom as well was very small with a very small shower cubical. However, the room was clean and modern with a flat screen TV. Watch out for the plastic backed sheets, we all know why hotels do this but really... it's totally unpleasant to sleep on unless you like having hot sweats in the middle of the night. Also, we could here people passing in the corridor during the course of the night. It's ok for a London hotel but I wont book this one again.

We would highly recommend this hotel

Firstly we couldn't have asked for friendlier staff. They were polite and helpful a warm greeting awaits you. The room that we had was to a high standard to what we paid for. The view that we had, caused us to close the blinds, but that is not the hotels fault. After all, when you are in London you are always out and about. So it wasn't that important to us. We felt the breakfast at £16.50 was a little pricy, especially if you don't want a full english. The food was very tasty and plenty of choice. The facilities are to a high standard. Two tube stations less than 5 minutes walk, Covent Garden 10minutes walk. Good location. We would certainly use this hotel again.

Excellent Location

This hotel was in a great location for the west end! It was a nice hotel - much better than I expected. I would recommend it. However, it does state that there is 24 hour room service (for sandwiches), but when we returned to the hotel just after midnight we were told by the consierge there was no-one to make any food and they had run out of sandwiches, he was very rude. Apart from that we had a great stay!

One of our favourite haunts in London

We have always loved this hotel (originally The Bonnington) and have fond memories of it. And we always come back to it. Once again we had a great time. The only complaints (if one can even call it that) was that there was not a bedside table on my side which I found inconvenient. We had coffee in the bar one evening and it was cold. But overall the staff were very friendly and we really like the new decor!

I was next to a utillatey room :-( I have stayed at this hotel a lot with work, Breakfast is no longer as nice as it used to be, Instent coffee is very bitter toast you now have to do yourself and fried eggs are now hard every time and sausages and bacon under cooked
