see all hotels in Southwark - Waterloo"Not impressed"by P from South Africa
The room was filthy, from the toilet, curtains, floors, cutlery, carpets, lift, towel, desk, etc etc etc. Very dirty and not nice at all, situated right next to the railway line, so forget about sleeping if you don't have the best available suite!! The two concierge and doormen that I dealt with, are so unfriendly, inpolite and just plain rude. The housekeeping staff that I dealt with, don't really speak English. I will not stay at this hotel again!
"very good city crashpad"by r from hertfordshire

"nice room poor service"by M from Oxford
stayed for a weekend, got a suite, very nice layout, great facilities, good layout, nice bar, but hotel were short staffed, no cleaner one day, difficult to contact room service, reception was too rushed, but close to london eye etc.
"Superb!"by T from Rotterdam
We stayed one bed suit with fantastic view of Thames river. Clean room with comfortable bed, lovely bath room with shower and bathtub. Small kitchen to cook simple food with Nespresso machine. I'm coffeholic and the espresso machine made me so happy!! Trasportation was comfortable as well. Vauxhall underground station in 5 min walk, taxi was available anytime. I'm sure we will stay at Plaza on the river next year as well. Only one thing bothered us was noise of music. I think there was a party some where and music was quite noisy but you know it's Christmas time!!! Not happening everyday!
"superb hotel cant fault it"by s from corby , northants
sometimes the pics on the website do not match when you arrive but i cannot say this about the plaza , everything was spotless and comfort good enough for a queen , so for what i paid i wouldnt hesitate going back.
