Description


Location. The Radisson Edwardian Hampshire hotel is located in London, England. The National Gallery is one block from the hotel. The West End theater district is 10 blocks away. Hotel Features. The Radisson Edwardian Hampshire, is an eight-story building that features the high arches and tall windows from the late-Victorian period. Chocolate brown, overstuffed sofas and wood paneled walls decorate the lobby. The front desk offers tour assistance. Discounted London theatre tickets are available directly across from the hotel's entrance. The Apex is the hotel's formal restaurant, serves lunches and dinners from an a la carte menu of international dishes. The outdoor terrace becomes a continental-style cafe during the summer. The subterranean Crescent Bar serves drinks and light food during the evenings and features subdued lighting and cozy alcoves. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel.

Guestrooms. The eight floors guestrooms of the Radisson Edwardian Hampshire are decorated with rich jewel tones of red, blue and green English fabrics. Chaise lounges, scalloped draperies and carved or canopy headboards are featured in the 124 guestrooms. Amenities include tea/coffeemakers, minibars, in-room safes and complimentary newspapers. The Italian marble bathrooms offer shower/tub combinations, bathrobes and slippers. All accommodations include wireless Internet access for a fee.

Expert Tip. Originally a dental hospital dating back to 1901, the hotel is centered nearby the hub of tourist London and Covent Garden, which contains the city's principal fruit and garden market and Royal Opera House.

Not cheap, but worth it!!

Despite the fact it lies on Leicester Square, this Hotel offers quiet luxury in the heart of London's theatre district. If you're staying midweek, expect to pay through the nose for a room, however weekend rates are worth it for the luxury your wrapt up in. The staff are very friendly and attentive and all speak good English!!

Great location

Excellent Hotel, with aa great location, walking out directly into Leciester Sq. I am a great fan of the new look Soho so it is nice to be so central. Make sure you get the waitress eye at breakfast. Why is it hotel's are busy even when there are only 3 people at breakfast?

Good location terrible breakfast

If arriving in Heathrow with not too much luggage, get the underground from the airport to Leicester Square. It's a direct route, takes aprox 45 minutes, costs £4.00 adult one way and leaves you two minutes from the hotel.

One of the best locates in central london, walking distance to most places,or just a few hundred yards from Leicester Square tube station
