Description


A Grade II listed building, the Renaissance Chancery Court is a grand, seven-storey Edwardian hotel located 500 metres from Covent Garden and West End theatres, and half a mile from the British Museum. The 356 guestrooms are all uniquely shaped due to the unusual structure of the building. All feature cherry-wood furniture, armchairs, objets d'art, and beds with Indian cotton pillowcases. Rooms come equipped with satellite television, video-game consoles, Internet connections, CD players, tea and coffee-making facilities, and minibars. Black-marble bathrooms include, bathrobes, heated mirrors and Penhaligon toiletries.
The hotel houses 11 meeting rooms, the largest of which can accommodate 400 people theatre-style. The business centre offers secretarial and support services, including fax and photocopying facilities. At the onsite spa, guests can unwind in the teak and gold-leaf relaxation room or sweat it out in the steam room and sauna. Ayurvedic and holistic therapies include traditional manicures and pedicures, and hot stone massage. Situated in one of the original banking halls, the Pearl Restaurant features marble columns and high ceilings. The à la carte menu offers modern European fare with an Oriental twist, and signature dishes include Rabbit Ravioli. The Bar at Chancery Court features mahogany panelling, green-leather sofas, and comfortable armchairs, and offers a lunch menu and bar snacks in the evening. The Lobby Lounge serves breakfast, a lunch buffet and traditional English afternoon tea. Guests can purchase Ede and Ravenscroft shirts in the boutique or visit the hair salon. The concierge and staff at the 24- hour front desk are on hand to advise on local sights and attractions. The hotel is situated 500 metres from the theatres of the West End and the shops, restaurants and nightlife of Covent Garden. London Heathrow Airport is 16 miles away and can be reached by car in around 50 minutes.

A well located hotel in central London and value for money stay

excellent facilities in the hotel, great ambience, lovely food and restaurants / bar, amazing staff, most conveniently located, cant think of any reason to complaint! definitely my option when visiting london the next time

Couldn't Have Been Better

Stayed at this wonderfull hotel for short break on my 40th birthday with wife - it is expensive, sure, but it is worth it - room, service were faultless - seek out the marble staircase when you are there - it is amazing. Hotel is in excellent position for central London. Staff were helpful and professional. couldn't recomend it higher.

Very Impressed

Beautiful hotel so close to where everything happens in London, yet so quiet. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, yet they do not appear intrusive. Would definately go back.

Very happy

First time in a 5 star hotel. Overall was very happy with the hotel. Very good location close to Covent Garden & Soho. The breakfast and overall hotel was very nice. I was a little underwhelmed by the room on arrival, some of the furniture was a bit old, but it was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

great location

we stayed at chabcery court for a weekend break - the hotel was very comfortable - rooms spacious and breakfast good as it was included as part of ouor price but would not have wanted tyo pay the rate for it otherwise. The location was excellent 2 minutes from holborn tube or 10 minutes walk to covent garden.

Excellent hotel

very classy and good located hotel, close to all theatres and a lot of restaurants. The restaurant within the hotel is very good as well, although not quite as good as I would have thought for that price. very friendly staff. in short: highly recommended. enjoy.

quality hotel very relaxing and in a perfect position easy ten minute walk to convent garden we had a lovely short break here and will return
