A great stay in this hotel - definately will stay again

Location of this hotel is really great. Tube station around the corner, and a nice walk to Oxford street. And of course being right across the street from Hyde Park was amazing.

Exceptional service

Exceptional service in a great location. The rooms are comparable to those in a Hyatt, and the staff is efficient, competent and most courteous.

Oldie but Goodie

It's an old Hotel located on the north side of Hyde Park with spectacular views of the park and the city. It was recently rennovated, although some of the appliances, etc. are still old looking. It is extremely clean though. If the price is right (it was when we stayed; on sale for almost half of what the other Hotels offered), I highly recommend it. It has small rooms (as most Hotels in Europe), but it is overall comfortable. The breakfast room is great with great view of the Park. The breakfast they serve is ok. If you order eggs, they will arrive cold. But the buffet is fine. The price of the breakfast is outrageous for US standards, however. Grab a taxi and go somewhere else. It will cost less (including the taxi ride).

Great Value

Stayed for 2 nights, room comfortable and clean. Reception staff and lobby first class. Liked the abilty of not having to check out. Down side drinks at bar very expensive but bar food good value for money. Will certainly stay again

Won't go back!

The employees were curteous but the room was small and not worth the money at all. It was thirty more pounds to park on the lot as a customer already. No breakfast included in this small expensive room. The lady checking rooms after clean was done just used her key to walk in the room without knocking. I doubt if I will use this hotel again.
