Description

Location. St Christopher's Greenwich is a three-storey budget hostel set in historic Greenwich, 500 metres from the Cutty Sark and four miles from London's West End. Heathrow Airport is 27 miles away, with an approximate driving time of 90 minutes.
Hotel Features. The hostel's leisure facilities include a pool table, a television in the lobby and a mini-cinema. The hostel is situated above a traditional pub, which hosts big-screen sports, DJ entertainment and Sunday barbecues. The air- conditioned public areas are equipped with wireless Internet access. Other amenities include laundry facilities, a cash machine and a safe-deposit box at the front desk.

St Christopher's Greenwich offers continental breakfasts every morning and bar meals are served for lunch and dinner in the traditional pub.

Directions

Getting there. The Heathrow Express train service to London Paddington Station leaves every 15 minutes. The airport is also on the Underground's Piccadilly Line, which takes passengers into Knightsbridge, Green Park, Leicester Square and King's Cross underground stations. Greenwich is on the Docklands Light Railway line. London's black taxi cabs also service Heathrow Airport and cost 40-50 GBP to Central London. Bus services include the Airbus Heathrow shuttle to London Victoria or King's Cross railway stations. The easiest way to get around London is by using the Underground (metro) or bus services. Alternatively, black taxi cabs can be hailed in the street.

Make sure you own flip flops for the showers!

It was a chore to find the place so I am going to tell you how to get there to save future traveller's the pain of walking with heavy backpacks. From London proper: Get on the tube to a station that either connects to the Jubilee line or is on the Jubilee line and take that to Canary Wharf. Switch to the DLR line (a bit of a walk from the Underground) and take the Lewisham train and get off at the Greenwich station. The Hotel is right next to the Greenwich station.
