all in all pleased with stay. i dont think it reflects a 5 star in comparison to the irish version, but very clean and lovely view from river-view room. bar quite expensive. on check-in, we found the receptionist quite unfriendly and rushed us through without welcome. otherwise service was good, a good hotel for the price really, and well located
"Great Location"by O from Horsham
The best aspect if this hotel is the location and views of many well known London landmarks from the riverside rooms. Just a minutes walk from the Strand, a little longer to Covent Garden, literally right next to Temple Tube Station and 5 mins walk from Blackfriars (Thames Clipper) river transport. We had to get the Duty Manager to turn off the Climate Controll system to the room as it made a buzzing sound. But this was easily done by the exellent, friendly staff.
"Good location"by M from Lincolnshire
Nicely styled hotel in a good location. Would stay again but on a warmer day as on a very cold New Years evening the heating was not working and it took 2 hours to convince housekeeping that 17.5 was not a normal room temperature and for them to bring us an extra heater, which was too noisy to be left on all night if we wanted to get any sleep. All the hanging around trying to sort out the heating problem meant that we had no time to get ready before going out so this meant that the evening got off to a poor start, not at all what we had expected when booking a four star hotel for the New Year celebrations.
"A Super Hotel"by G from Glasgow
We booked this hotel for a weekend shopping trip to London and were impressed with all aspects of the accommodation. The hotel was situated across from Temple tube station which made it easy to travel to and from the hotel. Our room was super and we especially liked having the espresso machine to help us get going in the morning. We will definitely be booking this hotel again.
"Quite Good"by B from Dublin
This hotel was ideally located for the purpose of my trip. It was within walking distance of the west end and next to the river. The hotel room however was ever so slightly grubby, especially the bathroom (toilet brush had not been cleaned since the last occupant!) The staff were extremely helpful and did provide us with whatever we required including replacing the brush!
"Beautiful hotel"by j from Paris
Such a nice hotel - beautiful, elegant, that nothing needs to be said. Well-trained and friendly staff. Rooms beautifully kept and comfortable, excellent bed, discreet and tasteful decor, lovely bar/restaurant. Would definitely wish to return!
